My winter vacation of 2010 Winter vacation has passed away; it left me a lot of happiness and enjoyment. During winter vacation, I can not only travel to many other places, but also can have fan with my friends and family, the most important thing of all is celebrating the Spring Festival. This winter vacation of 2010 was so excited and colorful that I even could not forget it for ever. At the same time, I have new thoughts of our lives and our country, too. Expecting for a month, the exciting trip finally came. There were four places waiting for my visit, they were Shenzhen in Guangdong province, Hong Kong, Sanya in Hainan province and Beijing. Hong Kong was the first place that I visited. As soon as I arrived at Hong Kong, I was attracted by the modern city, the high buildings, and the number of people walking on the street. The city looked flourishing, and busy. I also enjoyed the beautiful night scene. And I visited the Disneyland, enjoying the colorful, magical, and wonderful day. Hong Kong made a good impression on me. I think the beautiful seaside also impressed me a lot. The scene in Sanya is very different from big cities. I could feel the real feelings of nature, but not the man-made buildings and roads. It was different from my hometown, too. In my hometown, the world is white and cold. However, it is blue and green in Sanya, it is hot, too. I also enjoyed playing in the sea and eating sea foods. I spent the Spring Festival in Beijing; I had a rest and relaxed my mind. At the sane time, I visited two famous universities: Tsinghua University and Peking University. They are the best two universities in China. I hoped that visiting these two universities could inspire me to study harder so that I can go to a good university in the future. I visited the Bird’s Nest and The National Aquatic Center (the Water Cube). As we know, the Olympic Games have just passed, I am very proud to see the Olympic buildings. Though the winter vacation has passed, it let me learn a lot of knowledge that I cannot study in school. Also I find that my country-China is a very big country. It has different scenes in everywhere: it is cold and snowy in the north, however, it is warm in the south; it is modern and developed in big cities, but it is undeveloped in some small places. Though the country makes big progress in developing these years, it is not enough, and we have a long way to keep up with the developed countries. So students in China should work harder and have never-give-up attitude. The future of the country belongs to us. |
